Silverwolf recently discussed the Libertarian candidates for President, saying, in effect, that he was not impressed. But he was impressed by one key point that Candidate Steve Kubby stressed in one of the online radio debates the Libertarians have recently staged on Mr. Kubby’s blogtalk show.
Kubby made a case that the key issue in the campaign was the de-criminalization of marijuana and the elimination of the controlled-substance laws. And Silverwolf would have to strongly agree. If the state can tell you what you can and cannot own, you are living in a communist society, and the rule of life, liberty, and property has been overthrown. If the state can tell you what you can and cannot own, and what you can and cannot do with your own body, even if it does not directly effect the property rights of others, then the state has appropriated the function of human freedom, and has itself become an obstacle to the development of human liberty. The state, under the ancient doctrine of Natural Rights Law, the Rights that inspired both the American and the French Revolutions, has no right whatsoever to intrude itself into the private affairs of the individual, carried out within the legal boundries of his desmesne, when those affairs affect no one but himself. It is communism, pure and simple; and it is the philosophy of all the candidates currently running for President except Dr. Ron Paul and Steve Kubby. (And Kubby has shown a rare streak of realpolitik amongst the Libertarians by endorsing the very practical campaign of Dr. Paul, who has a real shot at winning and bringing 90% of the Libertarian agenda before the American people, instead of endorsing an unknown sure-loser from the Libertarian ranks of petty businessmen, and quaint professors.)
The controlled-substance laws form one of the three pillars of Communism one sees in modern America. The other two pillars are the death penalty and the death tax, both designed to further advance the rule and power of the state over and against the individual. This is exactly what Jefferson feared, and is why he gave us a Constitution that defends us against the power of government to go beyond its sole legitimate function as a guarantor of private property rights (which include our bodies). But the Constitution was overthrown in the 70’s when the Congress gave war-criminal Nixon the go-ahead to establish Fascism in America by passing the Controlled Substances Act, an Act endorsed by Communists on both sides of the aisle, and an Act that has subjected the American people to the terror of Communist thugs for over thirty years now. Most Americans can see that it has been very successful in destroying the Rights guaranteed in the Declaration. And they also see the indifference of every one of their Presidents since Nixon to this egregious overthrow of the Bill of Rights. The drug warriors come from both sides of the aisle, from Biden to Santorum, from Clinton and McCaffrey to Bush and Bennett. Both parties are infested with Communists, but most of their constituents are too blind to see that they themselves are the problem. If these “loyal” constituents would only plunge their stylus through the entire slate of Libertarian Party candidates, the tyranny would end overnight. But they will continue to vote for their Clintons and Bushes, for their spendthrift Democrats and spendthrift Republicans until they have bankrupted spendthrift America. Only Ron Paul and Steve Kubby stand between America and its death.
Let’s remember that under collectivists like Roosevelt and Stalin, gold was a controlled substance. Under our modern Stalinists, it’s cannabis.
Silverwolf urges all Americans to overthrow the rule of the Communists by voting for Dr. Ron Paul.
He’ll howl to that.
