Silverwolf had a wondrous sartori today, a deep insight that came to him suddenly after days of experimentation. The sartori was thus: cats are more fun than dead leaves. This insight arose spontaneously after an assay in which Silverwolf spent 48 hours playing with his cat, Sooty, followed by 48 hours playing with some dead oak leaves and comparing the amusement derived from the two states of being (author’s note: wolves require sleep the way camels require water). While playing with Sooty proved a never ending stream of fascination for Silverwolf, he was far less enthusiastic about his experience with the dead leaves. For example: if you stroked and petted Sooty, he would respond with purring, rubbing his body against your shins, and ramming his head upwards into your paw, to get you to keep petting him on the head. The dead leaves, on the other hand, responded to stroking and petting with deep indifference, and hardly stirred, save when the wind happened to blow on them. Then they would exhibit some short-lived enthusiasm by moving a millimeter or two, but would quickly calm down, and relapse into quietessence. We thought perhaps the type of dead leaf might make a difference, so we tried our experiment variously on bay leaves, tan oak leaves, dogwood leaves, and even pine needles, but all seemed to share that utter indifference so characteristic of dead objects.

It’s truly hard to pin it down, but there definitely is some quality, inchoate in outline though it be, that makes a live cat more fun than a dead leaf (or even a herd of leaves), although you may say Silverwolf is prejudiced in favor of cats, and you yourself may not share his sartori, but feel deeply within yourself that dead leaves are infinitely more amusing than live cats. So be it. Silverwolf will not argue with you. As Mark Twain said, differences of opinion, that’s what makes horseraces.

If one thinks of the politics of Principle as taking a straited path twixt the complete socialism of Communism, and the racist, corporate-state socialist, pseudo-capitalism of Fascism, then one can see why Silverwolf can think of politics as a rotten Libertarian sandwich, with the healthy political and economic truths of Praxeology interlarded between the twin slices of rotten despotism. Libertarianism has been tainted on the left by trying to associate it with Fascism or Nazism, the “far-right”, but this is an outrageous contamination by association of terms. The “old right” might be characterized by Jefferson, Madison, Paine, Burke, and Lord Acton. And since these old Liberals thought in terms of the “Rights of Man” these Rights appertained to every single Human Being irregardless, in that quaint American phrase from the 50s, of “race, color, or creed”.  Libertarianism is a form of Humanism in that it says that certain Rights belong to all men, including the Right of Self-ownership, which precludes slavery. A Libertarian would probably say that a man has a right to kill someone who tries to actually physically enslave him. Slavery represents the ultimate in theft of property rights, save for murder. Spartacus’ rebellion against the Roman Miscreants would probably garner applause from a Rothbard or Mises. Probably with Camus also, who refused to be ideologically forced into the left.

And Libertarianism has been tainted on the right by the charges of the ignorant that it stood for “libertinism”, or was the hangout of potheads who just wanted to get it legalized, or of gun nuts of the Far-Right and the Klan, who just wanted to hang on to their personal arsenals. ” (gutteral) chhHippies of the (gutteral) chhRight” Ayn Rand would once describe the Libertarians in her thick Russian accent. And the concept of a bunch of intellectual crackpots, who hold an annual convention every four years, and run a weird candidate, who just ekes out the Green Party candidate, and so retains the Libertarian’s claim on the third biggest party in America, has stuck with the public. Ron Paul’s 1-2% popularity status for quite a few months in the early presidential campaign, before he got up to the 15-20% scores later on,  might be because of the public’s vague memory that he once ran for the post as a Libertarian. The idea that this party essentially espouses the Thomas Jefferson line on government is completely missed by the general public.

And, also,  Libertarianism is a Humanism in its Ghandiesque insistence that no one has the right to use coercion, or initiate force, against another’s property rights. This non-coercion principle is another key element of Libertarianism that makes it completely incompatible with either Communism or Nazism. And because it believes in the non-coercion principle, and because it can see objectively from the ever-recurring course of history that State Power has been historically the most coercive force, it sees clearly the necessity for a minimalist government, non-intrusive in our privacy, which is faithfully committed to protecting the Rights of the Individual, and vigorously pursues prosecution of any malefactor who dares to violate the non-coercion principle.

And finally, Libertarianism is a Humanism because it places the Individual, and not the State, at the apogee of its value system. The Rights and the life of the Individual are the sacred goals to which Libertarianism marries itself, not the worship of a State, a flag, a religion, or a “leader”. In a world which does the exact opposite, be it in America, totalitarian China, Fascist Saudi, or Islamofascist Sudan, the Libertarian principle is the only one that maintains the integrity of the Individual. The world wants to crush the Individual; look at the tax laws written by the State worshippers, which are designed to crush any Individual economic power, no matter how hard one works and saves. And by crushing the Individual, the major countries of the world will kill the very engine that provides the wealth for all these looters. That is the process that is continuing apace throughout the world, as Communism and Fascism, the two rotten pieces of bread, mew up the healthy core of Human Freedom between their stench-filled slices.

In a world that says throw away the filling and just eat the rotten bread, Libertarians may well respond, “Fascisti, you can keep your bread, while we will feast on Human Freedom.”

President Obama, seeing the continued failure of his Keynesian socialist policies to revivify a nearly moribund America, has turned to that last tactical standby of Socialist economies — blame your trading partner and impose a tariff. In this case, it’s another socialist dictatorship that’s eating the hard cheese, so Silverwolf feels no sympathy. But the injustice of driving up the price of tires for the American consumer to bail out the unions that helped put him in power is not going to cause President Obama any lost sleep. With an annual income of over $2 million, the Prez could care less if his tires cost him another$30 a pop. The important thing for him is that American union workers should continue to get bloated and uncompetitive salaries and benefits so he can secure their votes, and that the costs for that Socialism should be born by the American consumers. After all, a quarter of those consumers voted him in.

One of the infallible fillips that push Socialist economies to the ever-approaching brink of disaster is the imposition of tariffs. This anti-Capitalist measure has been a favorite of Statists since time immemorial, and since Obama is within the course of history, and since his understanding of economics is so pathetically feeble, it was highly predictable that the old Mercantilist panacea of the tariff would soon be wheeled out and displayed as if it had some function in a Capitalist system. Obviously it does not, because it raises the free-market price of a good well above where it would be if the free-market truly functioned. Tariffs are national socialism, plain and simple. And even if they are in response to price undercutting, the fact remains that the consumers in a country without tariffs are benefiting by purchasing goods at a price cheaper than they would have paid, had there been a tariff. Thus, millions would have had higher cash balances in their savings accounts, making the country more prosperous, had it not been for the tariff. And all this to save a number of jobs running into the thousands. Millions must suffer so that the union thousands won’t have to live within their means, as the non-union worker has to. And thus the tariff helps impoverish a country by causing inflation, as at the same time it slows free-market trade.

President Obama, with his characteristic short-sightedness, has just instituted a trade-war with America’s largest debt-holder. And it’s highly likely that Fascist China will soon retaliate with its own set of tariffs. After all, one good injustice deserves another. The consequences, as they were in the 1930’s, will be catastrophic for world trade, and the feeble printing-press initiated revival of the world’s predominantly Socialist (though called Capitalist) economies.

But let’s forgive President Obama, for he knows not what he does.

Silverwolf has just seen an amazing set of photographs that have had for him the same kind of significance as when he first saw footage of a U.S. high-altitude plane, flying so loftily above California that he could see the entire outline of the State. Then there was his first seen shot of Earth-entire, something that no philosopher before him had ever seen. What would such a viewing have done to those fertile minds?

The photographs in question are those taken by Prokudin-Gorskii of Russian scenes during the years 1907-1915. Due to some triple color technique beyond Silverwolf’s limited wolf-intellect to understand such technological magics, these photos look like they have been taken yesterday with a modern camera, the images are so sharp, and the colors so vivid. And what is so shocking is that it reveals that a century ago, things looked exactly as they look now in their reality.

Those of us weaned on black-and-white imagery of WWII, or worse, the black-and-white cum hurried-marionette footage of WWI with its notorious undercranking, have come to accept from childhood that reality prior to 1946 — the full color reality we have all known since childhood — was of a different caliber. Hitlerism, and the entire world, existed in grainy black-and-white, with fuzzy edges and bad sound quality. But not many years back now, the popularization of some of the American color footage of the War made us realize that it was not so long ago. And then the serieses in color, like America at War, and the release of many super-sharp color photos of Nazi chieftains at official events, made it seem even more temporally proximate to our own time. We stopped fooling ourselves that WWII looked different in reality from Malibu Beach 2002; yes WWII had existed in color, and the colorization made it seem less sinister.

But events a hundred years ago or more, had they really existed in color? It was impossible to believe.  Had the people in those early films really not moved like tabetic marionettes vivified by Benzarene? Of course they had. They were such evil times that men must have had to be different from the folks in “Our Town”.

Prokudin-Gorskii’s photos shatter that pleasant delusion, as they show us Russia in all its blazing glory, an incredibly beautiful land where serfs were held as slaves, and the Czar’s tyranny mulcted the poor masses. Here are young girls, tea plantation managers, remote-living old hearties who must have been crazed by the silence of the woods; and people at their daily toil so arduous that it would have made American part-time workers seem like aristocracy. They all actually existed, and existed in a color realism just as vivid and fresh as our own world. Indeed, our own world, and the cosmos, is now a hundred years older and less fresh than those “youthful” days of the Earth.

Like no other documents he has ever seen, Prokudin-Gorskii’s photos show us that the Past was always as real as the Now.

In perusing A. J. Nock’s “Jefferson”, Silverwolf was struck by the similarities between Jefferson’s reaction to the Hamiltonian National Bank, and Ron Paul’s reaction to President Obama’s and Congress’ use of the Federal Reserve as a slush fund to help out their backers. The situation of a lawyer-packed Congress and White House, completely out of tune with the laboring class and the small businessman who produce the actual wealth of the nation, is amazingly reminiscent of Jefferson’s perception of and opposition to the National Bank.

There are four ways in which the Congressional-White House Collectivists can control legislation (and thus influence much of the economy). Firstly and secondly, they can control the Congressional majorities and the White House, thereby ramming their legislation through to legality, its Constitutionality (or lack of it) be damned; thirdly, they can stack and utilize the Judiciary to overthrow the clear meaning of the Constitution and Bill of Rights; and finally, they can use the National Bank to print and dilute the currency, thereby wiping out part of the National Debt they spent years ago, in their welfare-warfare boondoggles. If the public clamps down, or controls one element through elections, the Collectivists merely switch control to another branch. And if they can line up the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial, then the FED/National Bank will not be far behind. And of course, there is always the bureaucratic class, who can interpret the very convoluted laws Congress passes, according to any whim of theirs that fits within the language of the bill. Bureaucrats in America probably have more power and cause more misery than the Supreme Court.

But none of this would be possible without the National Bank being able to add massive amounts of cash to the system at will by purchasing Treasury Bonds, diluting the value of all dollars currently in circulation. This increases the credit-creating ability of the banks at a nine-to-one ratio to the amounts of T-Bonds bought by the FED, but it is also a very subtle form of theft from all the savers in America, not unlike a private company that suddenly issues a massive tranche of new stock, diluting the holdings of all the current stockowners by increasing supply. Few realise this, and of those who do in the Government, it seems that only Ron Paul has the courage to introduce legislation that would put the first slight bit of accountability on the FED by letting the public examine its books. The fact the FED and the Democrats are fighting this Bill, H.R. 1207, tooth and nail is another important factor in the growing anger of the American public towards the Government, for an honest government would have no cause for secrecy in financial matters. The fact that the FED is suddenly saying “We know better than you how to run this, and we don’t want you to know because it might upset some of the banks” is like waving a red cape in front of the bull. America still has a thick tranche of  fiscally savvy and conservative thinkers out there in that 3000 mile by 1500 mile plain, and they vote.

And just as Jefferson was one of the lone Silverwolves standing up to the Hamiltonian Bank ( which had enabled Robert Morris to loot the American Treasury to the tune of millions), so Ron Paul is the lone Silverwolf standing up to the looters in Congress, and their accommodators at the Federal Reserve. The branching out of the FED’s powers into what amounts to a Fascist support of huge private corporations, a la Mussolini, has sent the first whiff of cozenage past the sensitized nostrils of the American public, and the old-fashioned common sense of balanced budgets, and their necessity for economic stability, has aroused Americans like no issue for years. All the warnings and prognostications Ron Paul made during his campaign are coming true before the public’s eyes, and many suddenly realize they voted for an economic lunatic, instead of the sane man from Texas.

 Indefinite prolonged detention, mandatory volunteering, expanding Bush’s “faith-based initiative”, increased powers for the FED, supporting FED secrecy, a banking czar, forced purchase of health insurance, calling those who question their Bills ”un-American”, requesting snooping emails, expanding the war in Afghanistan, bailing out Goldman Sachs, bailing out AIG, bailing out GM, bailing out Fannie Mae, bailing out Freddie Mac, $700 billion in TARP funds, $700 billion in stimulus or free money for contractors and swindlers, not repealing the Patriot Act, trashing State’s Rights by continuing to prosecute licensed medical Marijuana growers in States that have legalized it,  adding $2 trillion dollars in one year to the National Debt, cash for clunkers to bail out the Korean and Japanese auto makers while worsening our balance of trade at the individual taxpayer’s expense, — the lengthy list goes on and on and seems to grow daily. The violations of the Constitution and the whole American philosophy of self-sufficiency and limited government seem to have been completely forgotten by the vast majority of Americans, many of whom have never been educated in the basics of American Civics, the history of the Jeffersonian Revolution — a Libertarian, Capitalist Revolution, and the principles inherent in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. People in America have, for the most part, taken on the passive mindset of the Socialists in Europe, who have come to quietly accept the power of the Leviathan State as their master, instead of demanding the Natural Rights of the Individual, which were proclaimed not only by Jefferson, but also by the British Whig Liberals who supported the Revolution, and the more idealistic of the philosophes of the French Revolution. But such respect for the Individual is sorely lacking in the caponed inhabitants of North America. And what will bring about a change in those inhabitants, or a change in a rising generation so heavily conditioned by the Collectivist environment of the public schools? A child’s  inquisitiveness and energy is soon smothered by the necessity of sitting still in a boring classroom, listening to a boring teacher drone on about something that has very little relevance to his life. And he is always told it is for his own good. His mind becomes cannon fodder for the Collectivists, and the last election well illustrates that fact.

Jefferson found something of this revolutionary passivity when he returned to America from his assignment in France. After several years absence, he noted the talk in favor of a strong government, and protecting the men of property. Unlike France where Liberty was like a drug just discovered,  gone was the radical talk of Liberty, Natural Rights, Individual Freedom. Thus so quickly does a Revolution become calcified into political arthritis.

Key to this protecting the “rich and well-born” was Hamilton’s plan to redeem the highly specious government bonds at face value, a plan that would be highly inflationary because the bonds themselves were highly inflated. But the owners of these bonds were to be found in the “rich and well-born” class who were also the majority of Congressmen. Thus Hamilton had found a way of transferring wealth from the producing class, the laborers, farmers and small businessmen, to the non-producing class. The parallels of this process to the modern giveaway of funds under Hank Paulsen and his Congressional enablers is striking. The monocratic monolith of the Bi-partisan party in Congress has looted the working men of America to enrich its own interests and the interests of its friends, relatives and acquaintances, and piled the deficit onto the unborn generations who will be condemned to the 9-to-5 cell of industrial slavery. “Get a job” will apply to the honest, lowly, youth, but never to the well-fed caponed corporate-capitalists of Congress. Christopher Dodd’s sweetheart mortgage from Countrywide, and drug warrior Charles Rangell’s not declaring his taxable assets in property, are just two of many egregious examples of this sophisticated cozenage. As Jefferson put it, “The more debt Hamilton could rake up, the more plunder for his mercenaries”, words that could well apply to Paulsen, Pelosi, Reid, Bernanke, Frank, and President Obama, and all the Congressmen who voted for the immoral Bank Bailout Bill, and for massive loans to the mega-corporations.

Moreover, just as Hamilton knew that enriching the “rich and well-born” in Congress, and their affiliates, would bring great pressure to bear in support of these Government Bonds and the National Bank, so likewise the Congressional Democrats know that bailing out the banking sector at the same time that they bail out the Social Security pension sector, and all the sectors dependent for their wealth on the banks and corporations that were benefited by the bailout — this coalition of Bankers and Pensioners would create a vast block, a financial Maginot Line, which the disciples of Liberty and Sound Money, like Ron Paul, could not overcome. So many individuals and classes in America now benefit from the Socialist programs that enrich them at the expense of the producing class that it is virtually impossible to stop them. Anyone who stands up for the Constitution and sound economics is now called “un-American”. And few notice the perversion.

The ruction between the supporters of Liberty and Individual Freedom like Ron Paul and Thomas Jefferson, and the Collectivist-Fascist mentality epitomized by Pelosi, Reid, Geithner and the President, will go on as it always has in history. And unfortunately, as in history, it is the corrupt corporate interests that will continue to win.

The American public will continue to be robbed, and the dumbed-down majority will continue to applaud it, but the opponents of Tyranny will not shut up. The battle will continue with men like Ron Paul persevering in their quest to re-impose the Constitution on America, and the Libertarian Revolution on our economy.

The heinous and venomous decision to release a convicted mass-murderer by the Government of Scotland, in the name of “compassion” is one of the most despicable actions we have seen in a long time.  The reward for murdering 270 Human Beings is a warm welcome home from War Criminal Muammar Khadafi and his wonderful nation, showing that these beasts are not fit to be called Human Beings themselves. Ignoring the fact that this villainous action will surely lead to more terrorists acts, precisely at the time when the US and Britain are supposedly fighting terrorism at the cost of billions of dollars of new debt, the Governments of Scotland and England have shown themselves to be as despicable as the murderer they released. Just as Iscariot sold out Jesus for 30 pieces of Silver, so the Scottish and U.K. Governments have sold out the world’s innocent victims of terror for 30 Billion dollars in trade with the Miscreant Libyan nation. People should look hard at these accomplices in terror with Khadafi, and see them for what they are: the most vile example of Government at its worse, riding rough-shod over the common laws of Human Decency, in the name of money. What more could you expect from  Government Socialists, who are the most money-grubbing degenerates one can find.
The Scots lyingly talk of “compassion”, but I hope the public can see what kind of “compassion” these villainous Socialists have when it comes to the pain they have caused the relatives. One hesitates to use inflammatory rhetoric like “human garbage” when it comes to Scottish ”Justice” Minister Kenny MacAskill and British PM Gordon Brown, but one also hesitates to hold back the truth. The British and Scottish peoples should hound these two Miscreants out of office, and hopefully they will be spat at in the streets for the rest of their lives.

Libertarians the world over should show their strength by boycotting all Scottish and British products until these Government Collaborators-in-mass-murder are removed from office. FBI Director Mueller was absolutely correct when he said this actions makes a mockery of the rule of law, and we believe such actions should not be left unpunished. Let’s teach the Scottish Nation, and the entire world, a lesson by showing them that the actions of freedom loving free-marketeers can outweigh the profits they were counting on making by licking the gluteus maximus of the Tyrant of Tripoli.

When it comes to a “wee doch an dorris” of Scotch whiskey, let’s scotch their socialist plans for profit by reaching for the Canadian Club. Let’s show our “compassion” for Scotland by not burdening them with the worries of having money.

Tragically, the Associated Press has just announced the deaths of six more American troops from hostile action in Afghanistan. These six young  American’s deaths are due solely to the actions of Obama voters in the 2008 election and the Democratic Party, as well as those Republicans who did not vote for Ron Paul  or, later, Bob Barr. These young Human Beings would not be dead if Ron Paul had been elected. That is a fact.

America is awakening to the reality that they have voted  a new LBJ into the White House, who has surrounded him with the warmongers of the High Democratic Party, who are adamant in pursuing this futile war in Afghanistan which has killed not only over 700 Americans, but countless Afghani civilians. Silverwolf recalls footage he saw a couple of weeks back where three little girls and their mother were killed in a “mistaken” bombing. Though NATO denied being responsible, they were the only ones with planes in the area at that time. And their answer to the weeping father of this family, and a weeping older woman whom we presumed was the grandmother, was that they would “investigate”. If those three children and their mother had been from London, or Amsterdam, or Philadelphia, what an uproar we would have heard. But the selfish and insulated inhabitants of America and Northern Europe are more concerned with their “health plans” and their stock market indices, than that their actions just murdered three little girls and their mother.

And isn’t it interesting that Obama focuses on Israel’s settlements as a major human rights problem, and the Euro-funded UN commissions criticise Israel for “targeted killings” of terrorists who are actively trying to murder its citizens, while America uses drones to do the exact same thing, even though countless innocent civilians have been killed during these automated raids? No one talks of war crimes when Obama and NATO kill civilians in a country thousands of miles from their border, but when Israel unfortunately kills civilians in their operations to end the reign of terror from Hamas rockets that no civilized country would tolerate for a minute, they are accused by the anti-Semites of the UN of being war criminals. It’s the old double standard and callousness we remember from the LBJ days, when the Democratic Party wholeheartedly applauded the bloodshed they were responsible for in Vietnam. Obama has even rehabilitated Richard Holbrooke, one of the Vietnam Hawks. Some change, eh what?

The absurd fiction that the Taliban will be overrunning the Bronx and Malibu Beach if they are not stopped in Afghanistan, is about as absurd as that the Vietnamese Communists would be rolling down Wall Street, if we didn’t stop them in Indo-China. And the passivity of the people is exactly the same as it was back then at the start of the war, with so-called Liberal Democrats keeping mum on this issue, although they wailed and flayed when Bush was doing the same thing. Congressman Peter DeFazio (D-OR) voted against all the Bush appropriations for Afghanistan, but recently voted For the Obama request for the same funds. Pure hypocrisy, showing that Liberals have no core principles. They always vote for expediency, and always have their carefully rehearsed reasons for their immoral votes.

No outside nation has ever been able to conquer and control Afghanistan. The British, and then the Ruskies, both found it to be a vast graveyard for their youth, and for their treasure too. And now our new LBJ with his NATO allies, is destroying countless young American and Afghani (and British and Australian and a whole unfortunate host of others) lives, while helping to more quickly bankrupt the USA. His callous disregard for the trauma he is putting thousands of American youth through is disgusting.

And why is it the responsibility of Americans to straighten out Afghanistan, when there are so many young Muslim men in the so-called moderate Arab States? Why is it not the responsibility of Egypt,  Jordan, Morroco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai, Kuwait, and Saudi, to send their young men to fight the Taliban if it is so important that it be done? And why should American treasure, instead of Saudi, Kuwait, Quatar, and other Gulf States’ wealth be dispensed in the effort, if it is so key to stability in the region? The representatives of “Moderate Islam” have both the manpower and the wealth. Let them solve their own problems, instead of putting the burden on the kid from Nebraska, and the taxpayer from Wyoming.

The American People must tell President Obama, the new LBJ, to withdraw from Afghanistan immediately. Let’s save the lives of the troops, and let the Muslims of that region solve their own problems, instead of sucking the lifeblood and the treasure out of America.

One of the most disgusting displays of wasting American taxpayer dollars occurred last week, when President Obama whitewashed the vicious racism of Mary Robinson, by awarding her America’s Medal of Freedom. By doing so, he gave a signal to Jew-haters everywhere that it was cool to hate Jews, as long as you cloaked the hatred in the language of anti-Zionism. Obama completely overlooked the fact that Robinson chaired the 2001 gathering of UN racists in Durban, South Africa, where blatantly anti-Semitic literature, including racist caricatures of hook-nosed Jews, was passed out on the grounds of the conference by Arab delegations, without any interference from Robinson. Fortunately, America and Israel refused to continue to attend that UN-Fascist’s Rally for Racism, but in condoning such a heinous deed by giving this Jew-hater one of America’s highest honors, President Obama has legitimized anti-Semitism throughout the world. And additionally he has paved the way for further outrages by implicitly indicating that racism is fine and dandy, as long as it’s directed against Jews and Israel. One must judge politicians by their actions, not by their lying words.

If anti-racists in America had any self-respect, they would immediately contact their Senators to demand that this honoring of racist Mary Robinson be rescinded by demanding she return this medal paid for by the American taxpayer. We don’t want any racists, foreign or domestic, having one cent of our taxpayer’s funds spent on their self-aggrandisement.

By awarding this medal to the racist Miscreant,  Mary Robinson, President Obama has committed a great moral crime against all minorities that have suffered from racism, both in America and abroad. This man needs to be impeached or voted out of office before he exacerbates racist divisions any further.

Amidst the screaming and yelling amongst our Human neighbors, whom we are forced to live with, about their “healthcare” bill, we gathered the elders of the Libertarian wolfpack to express our views on this legislation.

Of course, the key question really is, How can the Government morally force all individuals to buy health insurance? They will be forced to buy it either from the bureaucrats and the Fed’s corporate buddies in the insurance industry, who, with the aid of their government bailouts, will be the only offerers of insurance since their smaller competition will be wiped out, and no little fish will ever be able to garner the capital, and comply with the onerous regulations that would be required of a new upstart business; or else they will be forced to buy it for the government, use government doctors, and follow government treatment programs, which will undoubtedly require the use of mega-corporate pharmaceuticals en masse, and cook-book procedures administered by the lower third of med-school graduates (if they can find enough). Competition will be eliminated, just as the big boys want. And plenty of juicy jobs and commissions for the civil service pension-golddiggers.

The fact that the Right of the Individual to exist on his own is basically trashed by this outrageous proposal is completely overlooked by the bill’s proponents, who seem to have lost all semblance of any comprehension of the Constitution. It may be one thing to require people to purchase insurance to drive a vehicle on public roads, since there are other ways of getting around like walking, bicycles, and public and private omnibuses; one can still travel without a drivers license. But to require someone to buy so-called health insurance just because they exist as a Human Being is not only deeply immoral, but a radical violation of the Rights of the Individual Human Being. That person may not want to ever be treated with conventional medical techniques, and to force them to pay for something they would never use, and force them to pay for their neighbor’s use of something they do not believe is valid, is again deeply immoral. This is the most heinous part of this bill, in principle, for it violates the Jeffersonian Imperative of the Individual’s “Inalienable Right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”. It is anti-Libertarian in the extreme; it is draconian and totalitarian. It is the philosophy of the bully-boy miscreants of the earth who want to break the Human Spirit into a thousand ineffectual shards. It is pure Fascism.

But now to descend from the Philosophical plane to the more mundane ones of costs and implementations.

The White House, in its chilling ’send us the emails of anyone saying anything you deem to be “fishy” ‘, in its first info-gathering exercise to see if the finking element of the populace will grass on their political opponents and neighbors, so the White House can theoretically start compiling a new “enemies list” a la Nixon — that White House seems to have forgotten the fishiest piece of disinformation yet, that being the President’s claim that this will not increase the deficit and will be revenue neutral, while the Congressional Budgetary Office contends that the deficit will run into trillions of dollars. Now the fact that a Law professor can contradict a group of professional economists, considered competent enough to work for the Federal Government, strikes Silverwolf as extremely “fishy”. Perhaps someone should send in the President’s email address to the government in its efforts to root out false information?

Finally, there are the provisions listed on page 425 of H.R. 3200 which would mandate anyone on Medicare to be forced to have a consultation regarding ending-of-life provisions at least once every five years, and under five years under a whole list of conditions. Again, this is a horrendous invasion of privacy, and a measure with ominous overtones, because many people could easily be bamboozled or browbeaten into  choices they don’t want to make, by a pushy and aggressive (or lying) government bureaucrat whose main concern is to save the Federal Government the maximum amount of dollars, so that his cost-savings record looks good. Remember, to the Government one more dead body means one less Social Security check the government must pay out for years, so government has a vested interest in skewering the direction of peoples “choices”. About the only choice left in America will soon be to leave the country.

There is also the issue of the security of government databanks listing all your medical conditions. Given the many instances of government losing data, or having it hacked, and putting millions of social security numbers into the hands of cyber-criminals, which has further exacerbated the epidemic of identity theft, we can just imagine what a field day blackmailers, and government employees stealing and reselling information, will have when they get their hands on this info. It is clear that when all this intimate knowledge about people’s lives gets on the data banks, personal privacy, guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, will be a thing of the past.

But I can see that the depravity of this Bill is starting to make the elders of the wolfpack look a bit sick, so we’d better desist since they don’t carry medical insurance. One can stomach only so much Fascism in one day.

Silverwolf has just been shaken by a spectacle he had not witnessed since seeing the anger swirling around War Criminal Humphrey at the Democratic Convention in ‘68. This spectacle was the irrepressible rage of the American populace at being manipulated and propagandized by the pusillanimous minions of the White House, as they try to ram this Fascistic healthcare bill down the infected throat of the American body politic. Never, since the days of St. George, running against War Criminal Richard Stinkhouse Nixon, in his attempt to gain the throne majestical and wield the sceptre royal over the American populace, has Silverwolf seen such ructions. It has finally dawned on many complacent Americans exactly what this new Socialist imposition of HR 3200 will mean to the quality and cost of their healthcare, and they are aroused as never before in years two score.

Three videos, mentioned on drudgereport.com, show Congressmen being raked over the coals by irate constituents.  Lloyd Doggett, of Austin, RonPaulland, is confronted by an angry mob chanting “just say no!”. Lord Quisling-highness Senator Spector of Pennsylvania is shown trying to explain to the crowd, with a defensive Secretary Sebelius trying to deflect some of the blows, why it’s impossible for him to read the bills he signs, and so they are broken up and read in parts by different people. That really brought out the lion’s roar in the crowd. Guess that Senator’s salary is so measly, and the pledge Spector took to defend the Constitution so feeble, that it’s really not worth his time to actually read through all the new regulations he helps force down the gullet of American Humans. Millions will have to live with the decisions this lazy man makes for us all.

Finally, Congressman Tim Bishop got a real ear-full from his angry mob in Long Island, New York, a state on the Eastern coast of America. Poor Tim told his sometime listeners that the purpose of the Constitution was to “provide for the common good” — in his Collectivist interpretation, this means a form of Communism. But poor Tim’s understanding of the Constitution is feeble indeed, for, as we well know, the purpose of the Constitution is to protect the Rights of the Individual and Individual Liberty from the encroachments of the State. That is why Jefferson felt it was imperative to add the Bill of Rights to the Constitution, for without them, he knew is would be worthless. But “provide for the common good” really means the exact opposite of Bishop’s Collectivist interpretation of the phrase. It actually means, to guarantee to every citizen in common the protection of their property rights (contained in Jefferson’s phrase “the pursuit of happiness”). The “common good” means every single citizen will have in common that protection, and that will be good for all men. Whatever is necessary to protect those Rights is the true function of the American Constitution.

Then Congressman Bishop had the gall to say that the Veterans Administration worked very well, and he was proud of it. A  elderly Veteran asked him if he was a Vet himself, and he said no, and then the Vet wondered how Bishop could assert that it worked very well, since his own experiences for years had been horrendous, and he’d had to wait two months to see a doctor. Beautiful!

And finally, the most heinous dodge of all, when a woman asked him where in the Constitution it authorized the government to force everyone into a health plan, he came back by quoting ”The Pledge of Allegiance”, and quoted the part “One Nation, under God, indivisible” stressing “indivisible”. Now didn’t Hitler have his fellow countrymen mumble something similar, except his name was substituted for the Deity’s? In other words, Bishop is subtly saying  ”don’t dissent because we’re going to ram this down your throat, even if it is blatantly unConstitutional”, just like War Criminal Johnson did with his “police action” in Vietnam, and his hatred of dissent. But, as you will observe, by corruptly switching the question from the Constitution to the Pledge (which ironically was instituted under Eisenhower, a Republican), he dodged the question, which of course he couldn’t answer, since forcing everyone to buy health insurance, either private or from the government, is a form of coercion which is both unConstitutional, and Fascistic. Another corrupt Collectivist politician. They sure are a dime a dozen, eh what?

The American people are arising in brushfires of Liberty to speak, and shout, and yell against the Socialist imposts being planned and forced through in that Chamber of Political Sin, the Congress. The Democrats have miscalculated, and miscalculated badly, as Socialists invariably do in the marketplace. Judging by what Silverwolf saw today,something which he has not witnessed in 36 years, the Democrats will be toast in the mid-term elections of 2010.
